Deaf, DeafBlind & Hard of Hearing Services

Survivors of domestic violence overcome tremendous obstacles to leave abusive situations. This is especially true for survivors who are Deaf, DeafBlind, or hard of hearing. Recognizing the unique circumstances of survivors in these communities, The Hotline strives to educate the public about the need for Deaf-, DeafBlind-, and hard of hearing-specific service programs.

We’ve partnered with the Abused Deaf Women’s Advocacy Services (ADWAS) to offer information and ensure Deaf advocates are available 24/7 to respond to those seeking help through the National Deaf Domestic Violence Hotline (NDDVH).
