Vital Link 2006

2006 Awards held in Washington, DC

VL 2006 picThe National Domestic Violence Hotline held the 2006 Vital Link Awards at Union Station in Washington, DC on October 4, 2006.  This year represented the Tenth Anniversary of The Hotline and the Vital Link Awards ceremony was part of the Decade for Change Summit.

The honorees for 2006 included:

  • Vital Link Award: CTIA – The Wireless Foundation
  • Vital Link Voices for Change Award: Salma Hayek
  • Listen to the Whisper Award: Yvette Cade, domestic abuse survivor
  • Leadership for Change Award: Members of Congress
