Judge Pirro Releases PSA for “Love Is” Campaign

Judge Jeanine Pirro, host of the Emmy-nominated and syndicated “Judge Pirro” show, has partnered with The Hotline to launch an educational initiative about domestic violence this season. Pirro has incorporated safety tips and action plans into the show in an effort to empower women and men in abusive situations.

“The public has to be educated about domestic violence,” explained Pirro. “Every time a victim is ignored, a criminal goes unpunished, or violence is excused, our society erodes further.”

Judge Pirro is not only raising awareness about what constitutes emotional, physical and sexual abuse, but is also offering resources to those who may be in unhealthy relationships.

Judge Pirro joins the National Domestic Violence Hotline in our 15th Anniversary “Love Is” campaign with a series of public service announcements that we will be releasing throughout the year. We are proud to have her be a part of The Hotline’s 15th Anniversary and Honorary Committee.

  1. I hope that with the help of Judge Pirro other women, men and children are spared the excruciating pain of abuse. Any type of abuse is horrifying and terrible to try to live through, but you can survive and you can get help! If you are in an abusive situation PLEASE CALL the 800 number and seek help!!! Take my advice, you don’t want to stay in that situation for ANY REASON!!!! You & your children (if you have any) will be much better off safely away from that situation. I am speaking from both my heart and personal experience; I have, thank the Lord, survived over 30 years of abuse (of every kind). My story is very long and difficult to tell and my abusers are still out there FREE and probably abusing others but I REFUSE TO BE SILENT any longer! I am determined to help others not to end up like me or if I can help it; even begin like me and help keep even one person from ever being abused in the first place.
Judge Pirro, I thank you for helping in this cause and hopefully & prayerfully with your help we can finally get some justice for all of those of us who have suffered for so long and not seen any justice.
